About Dr. Haider

Nameer Haider, MD, FAAPMR, AQPM, DABPM, practices interventional pain management at OMNI Pain & Precision Medicine in Utica, New York. He’s a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, a diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, a diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine, and he has subspecialty certification in pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. 

Dr. Haider graduated with honors from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, then completed a rotating surgical internship at the East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. 

After his internship, Dr. Haider completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Northshore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York, and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York City. He also served as chief resident at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Long Island Jewish Medical Center campus in Bronx, New York. 

Dr. Haider currently serves as the chairman of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in Utica, New York, and he’s the president of the New York State Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He’s also the fellowship training director for interventional pain management at the Minimally Invasive Pain Institute.

Dr. Haider is licensed to practice medicine and surgery in five states and holds clinical privileges at seven hospitals. His expertise is in minimally invasive surgery to treat spinal and skeletal pain.

He maintains membership in numerous professional organizations, including the North American Spine Society, American Academy of Pain Medicine, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, World Institute of Pain, and the International Spinal Injection Society. He’s also a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Physical Medicine and  Rehabilitation, Association of Academic Physiatrists, Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports, and Occupational Rehabilitation, and the Medical Society of the State of New York.
